VMS Electro-Mechanical Vibrating Conveyors

Features

There are several models available depending on application.

Spring loaded crank-shaft units are used with long conveyors of the near-resonant type which minimizes energy requirements for moving heavy, lumpy or sticky products.

Eccentric Electro-mechanical Vibrators use eccentric drive motors with adjustable disks to control the amplitude of the vibrations imparted to a tray or trough.

The motors are either mounted singly or in counter-balanced rotating pairs. The vibrating assembly could be floor mounted or suspended depending on the application.

Applications

The VMS-2 family of electro-mechanical vibrating conveyors is mainly used as feeders under hoppers or bunkers and is driven by eccentric motors.

They are used in food industries in mining and cement industries, in coal and chemical feeding and dosing applications.

They are also used to move large lumpy materials in applications where belts could be quickly worn out, or at high temperature and in situations where chemical reactions of the transported goods could affect the belt material.
